MEET OUR CEO

Arcade83 was founded in 2023 by Glenn Smith, but the story started long before that with a controller, and a kid with a love for gaming.

For Glenn, gaming was always a passion. But creating games?!?!? That was always a curiosity out of this world. 

Glenn's journey into game development began at the Gifted Center at Pittsburgh Public Schools, where he first experimented with GameMaker Studio. Though he later pursued a degree in Business Management at California University of PA, his passion for game creation resurfaced when he worked in Talent at Simcoach Games, a Carnegie Mellon spinoff.  

This time was pivotal as it was a chance for Glenn to network and learn from Game Developers, Designers and Artists. Building from there, Glenn began creating skeleton prototypes and documentation; later to outsource some of the more complex aspects of development and design. What started from an idea shorly grew into humbled beginnings of a small team dedicated to pushing through the boundaries of mobile gaming.
